Course Description

This course will provide participants with the knowledge required to identify bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials and to protect against exposure and to reduce their risk from exposure. This training has two sections, section 1 defines the three types of pathogens, and section 2 is to promote safe work practices and to provide a work environment that minimizes risk for occupational exposure to transmissible bloodborne pathogens.
